Delete Your MindLoop Account & Data
App: MindLoop (`io.cachepile.mindloop`)
You can delete your MindLoop account and associated data in two ways.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open MindLoop.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete Account (red, near the bottom).
- Confirm in the dialog.
This permanently deletes:
- your affirmations, playlists, and generated audio files stored on your device,
- your on-device settings, passcode, and saved local credentials,
- your Firebase Authentication account (for Google, Apple or email/password sign-in),
- your Library Backup (the copy of your affirmations and playlists on our servers),
- your server-side entitlement and character-credit records,
- your Feed likes, saves, blocks, Activity inbox and push tokens.
Your Feed posts and comments are taken off the Feed. To meet legal duties we keep some records for a limited time: account and connection records for 6 months and, if any of your posts or comments were reported or held for review, those comments, a list of them and your deletion date for 1 year. We also keep some safety records with no fixed end date, such as hidden copies of your posts, reports and our moderation decisions. The table below lists each one.
Deletion is processed immediately and cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app (for example, you uninstalled it) or want any remaining server-side records removed, email mindloop@cachepile.io from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my MindLoop account."
We will delete account-associated server-side data, including your entitlement and character-credit records, within 30 days and confirm by reply. The records in the table below that are kept after deletion are kept in the same way.
